Mission

One mother in the world feeling regret, shame or sadness after giving birth, is one too many. Too often birthing people just don’t know what they don’t know. Labor often evolves quickly. Contractions can be intense and overwhelming. Suddenly, a cacophony of split-second decisions are being hurled at the laboring mama, and, without proper support, can lead to them wondering post-partum: “How in control was I? Did I give informed consent? How could that have gone differently?”

Of course, every mother wants nothing more than a healthy baby placed on their chest or in their arms after birth. Hands down. That is the desired outcome for every mother. I do recognize, however, that this is also the minimum expectation. Your birth matters.

How many have stopped to think about the birthing person’s emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being at this mountain peak? They too, have just been born. They have undergone the single most trying experience of their entire life. I provide a holistic approach to birthing, pre & postnatal care for both mama and baby.

That’s where I come in as her doula.

I will work to serve the birthing person and their partner during this life-changing journey. My goal is to leave every birth having every mama feel like she just rocked her birth; confident, empowered, and immensely proud of the strength she found within herself, bringing her baby earth side.
